Established in 1958, we now manage 35 natural areas that provide a wide variety of exciting recreational opportunities for citizens of North Iowa. In addition, the Lime Creek Nature Center offers quality conservation education and outdoor learning programming for all ages. Annual Election of Conservation Board Officers
Election of officers for the 2018 year was held during the regular Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

Lime Creek Conservation Area Trails Closed
Effective immediately, Lime Creek Conservation Area trails will be closed to all horses and non-snow bikes for the remainder of the winter/ski season. Trails will reopen to in the spring of 2018.
Bluebill Dock Removed
The courtesy dock at Bluebill Wildlife Area has been removed for the season.
